Preschool Theme: Thanksgiving

What a quick week! Honey Pot and Little M&M only had three half days of school this week before Thanksgiving break. So my school days with Sweet E were cut short. Please pardon my brief descriptions! I've fallen weeks behind on blogging, and am trying to catch up quickly as we prepare for a MONTH of Christmas activities!

Books

Handprint Craft
Since we couldn't be with family this year due to covid-19, we made turkeys out of all three kids' hands, and mailed it out to them. They came out adorable!

Turkey Shapes
Free printable from Teachers Pay Teachers. We used the dyed pumpkin seeds from our pumpkin week last month.

Sweet E decided all on her own to make a pattern as she built each shape.

She did a few different ones that morning.

Color Sorting with Tongs and Pom Poms
Free printable from The Cozy Red Cottage.

Beginning Sounds
Free printable from Tot Schooling. Sweet E loved this, and did such a great job!

Thanksgiving I-Spy
Love these! Free printable from Life Over C's.

Pattern Block Turkey
Free printable from Jessica's Corner of Cyberspace.

Thanksgiving Playdoh Mats
We've been using these for years! First, making a Thanksgiving dinner:

Then on the other side of the mat it says to give the turkey some feathers.

Thankful Tree
Every November we make a large Thankful Tree on our chalkboard wall. I took a quick (blurry) pic of it mid-month, not knowing it'd be my only one lol. So here it is. Sweet E was included in our conversations about gratitude all month, and she contributed some great ones. She's grateful for her mom and dad, pumpkins and the ceiling. 😂

Happy Thanksgiving!
