We did a few easy, non-themed activities during this very busy week. Please pardon my brief descriptions! I've fallen weeks behind on blogging, and am trying to catch up quickly as we prepare for a MONTH of Christmas activities!

Sensory + Alphabet Review
Finding letters in the rainbow rice, then matching the uppercase letter she found to the lowercase letter on her paper.
Ta da!
Then she wanted to play with the rice freely, so we got out the bottles and funnels.
The scooping and pouring actually went on for a long time.

Then she wanted to do other puzzles with the pattern blocks too.
Number Scavenger Hunt
One of our favorite activities while the big kids are at scouts! I hid post-it notes around the house with a certain number of dots on them. As she found each, she brought it back and stuck it on top of its matching numeral.
Miscellaneous Activities
We filled the week with miscellaneous activities. Such as practicing beginning sounds with this puzzle:

We also read lots of books, and played with stickers, puzzles, and kinetic sand. Easy peasy week!
